I'm Jordan, I live in Charleston, SC, and I've been in software development since early 2014.
I have an eye for design and love building unique user experiences that go beyond just getting the job done. I love to think about how the user might interact with my apps and how I can make their experience better!
While React and Node are my preferred tools, I always love to try my hand at something new. Some of those currently look like trying out PHP via Laravel, digging more into Ruby on Rails for continued maintenance, and dabbling with different database technologies to get a better understanding of their pros and cons.

October 2015 - June 2018
I led the development of innovative event fundraising applications, aligning technical solutions with strategic business objectives. During COVID-19, I spearheaded the creation of a live-streaming platform with seamless donation and engagement features. My technical leadership modernized the platform, introduced an efficient organizer dashboard, and implemented AWS cloud deployments, enhancing scalability and reliability. Through collaboration with cross-functional teams, I ensured smooth project execution, strategic growth, and innovative product launches.
April 2013 - October 2015
I developed engaging, responsive websites tailored to churches and non-profits, enhancing online presence and increasing engagement and donations. Utilizing my graphic design expertise, I created pixel-perfect, mobile-friendly designs that provided seamless user experiences and met client branding and functionality requirements. By actively participating in client meetings, I ensured clear communication, high-quality deliverables, and consistent positive feedback, driving user engagement and client satisfaction.
